WHO I AM

Ashley graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2018, receiving a Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She is currently licensed to practice through the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals. She is also certified in Hanen's "It Takes Two To Talk" and "More Than Words" programs. She is currently under supervision on the RASP list.

Prior to becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist, Ashley worked with school-aged children in recreational settings teaching skating lessons and art classes for 10 years. In addition, she worked as a Behavior Interventionist. She volunteered her time at the Advancing Language Literacy (ALL) Group in Vancouver, multiple Aphasia Groups in the Fraser Valley, the Language and Brain Lab at Simon Fraser University and provided art therapy at Hawthorne Care Centre. Being an artist, she has a special interest in integrating arts and culture whenever possible.

Since graduating, Ashley sought experience at multiple hospitals within the Fraser Valley, supporting individuals with speech, language and swallowing disorders. Since starting a family of her own, she has been working in the private sector with individuals of all ages and a wide range of speech and language impairments and disorders.
